On Nov. 6 at approximately 10 a.m., officers of the Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a weapon-related incident on Hwy 401 westbound near Odessa.
Officers conducted a traffic stop without incident. The driver was subsequently arrested and police seized an airsoft pistol.
L&A County OPP have charged a 24-year-old man of Kingston with:
- Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose
- Driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on Jan. 12, 2021.
