Members of the Lennox and Addington OPP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in relation to an ongoing investigation.
On July 2, 2022, between the hours of 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., a white pick-up truck was travelling near the area of Academy Street and Main Street in Newburgh. The driver, described as a white male, approximately 70 years old, attempted to engage two young people in a conversation.
Police are asking that if you or someone you know has information as to the identity of the person of interest or surveillance footage in the area, you are asked to contact L&A County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS) where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000 or you can submit a tip to Crime Stoppers at www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca
