The Picton Pirates finished off the Amherstview Jets with a 6-4 victory last night, clinching their semifinal series 4-1 and earning a date with the Napanee Raiders in the Tod Division finals.
The Raiders finished 16 points ahead of second place Picton in the league standings this year, though the Pirates did give the Raiders a run for their money in head-to-head matchups, splitting them 3-3. Napanee took the first three with Picton winning the final three, including a 5-4 win in overtime to close out their regular season on Feb. 14.
Game 1 of the series is expected to take place Tuesday evening in Napanee. The schedule will be finalized this weekend.
