The U15 Napanee Stars continue to lead the Eastern Ontario league, now with a 10-0 record. Saturday, they gave a strong performance to shut out Otonabee 8-0. Ben Kerr and Wyatt Albright led the way, each with a pair of goals. Brock Alaver, Callen Wilson, Luc Asselstine, and Wesley Davey added singles, while Carter Cork earned the win in goal.

-The U18 and U13 Stars participated in Silver Stick tournaments, the U18’s in Pembroke, and the U13’s in Cobourg, the latter having an A division designation.

The U13’s tied Markham 2-2, in a game which Hudson Conger scored both power-play tallies. Belleville doubled up on the boys 4-2, with Liam Mulder and Chase Castignier stretching the twine. They rolled over Northumberland 6-2 with a balanced attack led by Maddux Hartwick (two), Jacob Lyons, Ryder Bruce, Mulder, and Ben Babcock. Unfortunately, it was not enough to advance, but they got satisfaction in tying Markham, the top club in the division.

The U18 boys made it to the quarter finals to face Caster River in their Pembroke Silver Stick Tournament, but lost 4-1. They traded goals in the first, with Spencer Cranley hitting the scoreboard on the power play, but the rest was all Caster River. Earlier the U18’s suffered a 5-3 loss in their opening game. Cranley scored twice, and Jered Haller got the other facing Ennismore. Luc Amat and Jack Osborne tallied in their 2-1 over West Carleton. They edged Mississippi by an identical 2-1 score, with Cranley and Amat doing the damage to advance in the 14 team tournament.

-The Napanee U11 Northfleet Stars continued to struggle losing in Douro on Saturday. Sullivan Elliott got the only tally. Sunday, at home to Centre Hastings, Hunter Armstrong scored in a losing cause.
