Peewee Express mercy host Stouffville Storm

The Napanee Peewee Express needed just five innings to post a victory this morning, routing the host Stouffville Storm 9-0 at the U14 Canadian Fast Pitch Championship.

Gavin Brooks drove in a pair while Ben Albright, Brady McCann and Aiden Reddick each drove in one.

Brandon Barker, Bryson Gilpin, McCann and Reddick each stole a base as well.

Brooks picked up the win, tossing four scoreless innings while McCann handled the fifth.

Napanee is now 4-2 at the tournament and will close out round robin play with a noon meeting against Quebec’s Bellechasse. The Express are tied with the Simcoe Braves and Shallow Lake Owen Sound Selects for the most wins at the eight team tournament.
