The Country Butcher Chop Peewee BB Stars were perfect in a busy weekend.  In Norwood, they dominated by a 7-1 score. Tie Wood scored a pair, while Sam McCaw, Kohen Cutler, Mason Goodfellow, Owen Kish, and Scott Scrimshaw had singles.  Saturday, hosting Douro, they led start to finish to win 5-2.  Kish tallied in the first minute, and also got the fourth. Blake Wood, Dylan Kemp, and Cutler scored, too. Sunday, they edged Loyalist 4-3 in Amherstview. Two goals 17 seconds apart was the difference, Dylan Kemp getting the winner.

The AFW Construction Atom BBs earned two wins over the weekend. They surged past Stirling 8-4 on the road. Brock Alaver and Zach Wilde both tallied twice while Cooper Seaton, Boutilier, William Babcock and Kerr had singles. Sunday,  they outscored Tweed 9-1. Kerr made nifty moves out of the corner to score first. Seaton got the early winner seconds later right from the centre ice face-off. Kerr got credit for a power-play marker. Oliver Kimmett and Alaver both netted goals from long range, while Kerr completed his hat trick moving to his right near the slot.  The final two came from Wesley Davey, with a fine rush from centre, and Boutilier shooting bar down. Napanee outshot the visitors 30-11.

The Calderwood Automation Bantam BBs posted wins over Douro and Brighton on the weekend. Home to Brighton, their balanced attack saw nine different goal scorers. Cameron Pierson and Aaron Storms each chipped in two.  In Douro Sunday night, they won 8-3. Their hosts were not gracious scoring 15 seconds in, but from there, the Stars prevailed, with Spencer Cranley netting a hat trick.  Daniel Chase, Zered Haller, Luc Amat, Gavin Brooks and Pierson contributed singles. Sam Rickard backstopped the win.

The Windoorman Midget BBs and goalie Ryan Aldridge shut out Loyalist 2-0 on the back of goals by Nolan Gunter and Connor Brooks. Sunday, they got a hard fought 4-2 win over Centre Hastings. Oronhyathe Green scored early in the first from an impossible angle in the corner. After their opponents went ahead by one, Bryan Christie scored from the slot, set up by Jacob Boutilier. Late in the third, on a solid second effort, Josh Reid got the winner from Caden Homes and Quinton Pierce. Christie got some insurance on a tip in from Green. The locals were outshot 26-18 in the contest.

The Conger’s Plumbing Atom AEs continued to struggle with losses in The County, 9-0, and 5-1 to Norwood. Quinn McConnell scored for Napanee.

The Napanee Canadian Tire Peewee AEs made a fine showing in an AE tournament in St. Mary’s, winning twice. They were edged by St. Mary’s 1-0, and won contests with Ilderton 6-3, and their arch rivals, Collingwood 3-0, but faced St. Mary’s again in the semifinals losing 3-1.
