There will be a Full Mainline Night Closure of Highway 49 at the Bay of Quinte Skyway Bridge from 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19 to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20. In addition, a Full Mainline Night Closure is also scheduled from 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21 to 6  a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22. This closure is intended for the implementation of staging configuration for Segment E work, which will consist of relocating temporary concrete barriers, temporary energy attenuators, placing temporary pavement markings, and flipping traffic to the west side of the bridge.

During these time periods the highway will be closed, and no traffic will be permitted to pass over the bridge. Please refer to the following website for the Glenora Ferry as an alternative route: http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/ontario‐511/ferries.shtml.
