Napanee OPP have released the name of the man who was struck and killed on Hwy 401 early Saturday morning.
Paul Allison, a 76-year-old from Brampton, was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers have determined a parked car on the shoulder of the road was struck by an oncoming car, which also struck the owner of the car who was standing on the shoulder of the road.
The collision took place in the east bound lane east of Switzerville Road.
The investigation into the fatal collision is ongoing and information will be released as it becomes available.
