On Nov.4, 2020 at approximately 8 p.m. officers of the Lennox and Addington OPP and members of the Loyalist Fire Department responded to a fire at an apartment on Manitou Crescent in Amherstview.
Two persons were found to be deceased. An investigation is ongoing by the Lennox and Addington County Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit, under direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch and in conjunction with the Office of the Regional Coroner.
There are no public safety concerns identified at this time. More information will be released when it becomes available.
