The Lennox and Addington OPP is investigating after an assault was reported in Napanee.
On May 12 at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded with Lennox and Addington County Paramedics, to an area on East Street at Dundas Street. The victim described being approached from behind and assaulted by two unknown males. Both suspects fled from the scene with an amount of cash before police arrived. One of the males may have been wearing a grey hoodie.
It’s not known if this was a targeted or random incident. The OPP is reminding everyone to be aware of their surroundings. If you observe someone or something suspicious, call the police.
