OPP charge four people with drug related offenses after executing search warrant on Dundas Street in Napanee

Drugs and cash were seized during a search warrant executed by OPP at a home on Dundas Street W.

The Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged four people with drug related offences.

On Sept. 1 a search warrant was executed at an address on Dundas Street West in Napanee, and over 100 grams of crystal methamphetamine, nearly 40 grams of fentanyl and more than one gram of cocaine was seized. A quantity of cash was also seized.

A 27 year old, 30 year old and 38 years old, all of Napanee, along with a 28 year old of Kingston, were arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Other Drugs
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000

The 27 year was additionally charged with three counts of fail to comply with undertaking and was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

The remaining accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee at a later date.
