A late rally fell short for Scott Chadwick and Team Ontario, as they fell 9-8 to New Brunswick in 11 ends in Wednesday morning’s draw at the Brier.
Ontario skip Scott McDonald had managed to score a point in the tenth end to knot the score at 8-8 and force an extra end. Unfortunately for Ontario they couldn’t get the important go ahead point as New Brunswick re-took the lead for good with their final stone.
The loss drops Ontario to 3-3 in pool play. They’ll close out pool play this evening against B..C. at 8 p.m.
