Marek died suddenly at his home in Newburgh, ON during the wee hours of January 30th, 2025. Marek, we all loved you so much and we always will.
You were a charismatic and visceral man who was tormented by the world’s injustices. You became a gregarious conver-sationalist whose words could not be ignored. We were touched by your powerful insights as well as your generosity, thought-fulness and the unwavering love you freely showed us. You were the Jokerman, dancing to the nightingale tune.
Marek leaves behind his longtime love, Patricia, as well as his first wife Susan; son Patrick and his wife Julie; daughter Tara Rose and her partner Christian; grand-kids Danny and Meggy; his cats Pepe, Nina, Louis and Bunny; and grand-dogs Molly (aka Maeve), Dolly and Scooby. He was pre-deceased by his mother Stefania

A Celebration of Life will occur at the home of Ted Footman (119 Front St. Colborne ON) from 2 – 4pm on Sunday February 16th and then from 4pm onward at The Royal Crown Pub and Grill in Colborne.
