KFLA Public Health reported a new case of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the active number of cases to two.
The latest case is a female under the age of 19. The health unit says it is working on contact tracing to determine where the individual may have contracted the virus.
Wednesday’s case was the first positive case reported in the area since Aug. 24.
None of the two active cases are reported as being hospitalized at this time. KFLA remains under ‘green’ status, which means cases are rare and the threat to the public remains low.
