The Rotary Club of Napanee gave NDSS’ School To Community program $1,500 this year to cover the cost of two buses for two end of year school trips, one to the Toronto Zoo, the other to a bowling alley and Chinese buffet in Belleville.
The School to Community program is for students with developmental disabilities and typically includes 40 to 50 students.
The students really look forward to the end of year trips, which can get very expensive, but the generosity of the Rotary Club donation covering the cost of transportation kept the student cost to a minimal amount.
