NDSS triple and long jumper Jessie Brunner is in Guelph today and tomorrow to represent the Golden Hawks at OFSSAA’s track and field.
Brunner qualified for OFSSAA in style at EOSSAA in Belleville, setting a new record in the triple jump with a mark of 11.33. That distance broke the previous juniors girls’ record by five cm. She also captured gold in the long jump with a distance of 5.21 metres. She’ll compete in both disciplines against high school athletes from across Ontario over the next two days.
