The Napanee and District Curling Club congratulates its first draw winners.
Starting with the 19- team Up&At’Em, the winners were Phil Berry, Gail Maracle, Kees VanGent and Sharon VanGent followed closely by Sandy Eastlake, Bert Kea, Marilyn Cole and Tim Grew.
The Tuesday Mixed winner was David VanVlack, Jordan VanVlack, Angela Kurc and Ed Kurc. The Wednesday Senior Men’s league was won by Doug Pennell, Allan Wriggleworth, Gerry Haggerty and Roger Mills with Andy Palmer, Steve Anderson, Wayne Chadwick and Tim Grew coming second.
The Wednesday evening ladies had the team of Janie Ryan, Martha McCallum, Bethany Lessard and Natalie Scilley in the winners circle with runner up Gayle Johnson, Marg Peters, Leslie Sweet and Jane Brown.
The Thursday Ladies winner was the team of Sandi McNamee, Gail Maracle, Heather Baker and Joan Reynolds with runner up Stacey Jones, Martha McCallum, Sandy Kennelly and Elizabeth Vandenberg. The Thursday Night Men’s draw as won by Paul McDonald, Chris Goody, Ray Taylor and Devlin Benton followed closely by Ian Munro, Neil Packman, Don Weir and Tim Grew.
The Friday Mixed was won by Kirk Donald, Ingeborg Donald. Rob Hardwick and Norma Hardwick with second going to Jackson Ryan, Scott Mills, Julia Mills and Rita Ryan tied with Louise VanHeighten, Arnold VanHeighten, Frank Lion and Patty Lion.
The Monday Night Men’s League had the following winners: A: Ryan Rowe, Rob Dickson, Scott Dickson and Aaron Shields with runners up Andy Palmer, Bill Hogg, Robert Hough and Gord Mitchell. B: Ian Munro, Brian Hobin, Mark Taylor and Andy Graham and runners up: Chris Coleman, Ray Taylor, Ron Menchetti and Jaan Lees; C: Darrell Scott, Guy Johnson, Bob St. John and Neil Packman with runners up: Bill Casselman, Hugh Sharpe, Bert Kea and Ken Booker.
NDCC is again hosting the Novice League which will be held from Jan. 20 to March 10 so call 613-354-7138 if interested. The club will be looking for lots of help each Sunday as well.
This Saturday is the club’s annual Senior Men’s Bonspiel.
