Lennox and Addington County General Hospital’s COVID-19 assessment centre will begin operation out of 12 Richmond Park Dr. (also known as the Westdale Complex) starting Oct. 20.
Prior to the move, tests were being conducted just up the road at the Lenadco Centre.
The hours of operation will be increased at the new location, with the Westdale Complex center being open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The new location will continue to operate as a drive-thru testing site and has been designed to safely accommodate vehicles without obstructing the road or other businesses. The newly installed signage will help direct people with booked appointments to enter through the north entrance.

People requiring a COVID swab can pre-register at https://covidscreen.lacgh.napanee.on.ca or call (613) 354-8254 to book an appointment (there will be no walk-in appointments). Currently, people can expect notification of an appointment time within 24 hours with their results within 48 hours after testing.
