Napanee’s Charlotte Elliot made her way into Carleton University’s record books, becoming just the fourth Raven to be named to two women’s rugby all-star teams.

Elliot was one of six Ravens to be named to the RSEQ (Réseau du sport étudiant du Quebec) Second Team All-Stars this year. She was named a First Team All-Star in 2018 in her rookie season.

According to the Ravens website, Elliot was an integral member of the team’s formation this year, playing in five regular season games and both playoff matches.

The 2021 season was one of the most successful seasons to date for the Ravens rugby program as they reached the semifinals for just the second time. Facing off against the top ranked Université Laval last Saturday, the Ravens fell 29-3. The loss ended a program best six game win streak for Carleton.

Elliot and her teammates will go for RSEQ bronze this weekend when they take on the Montreal Carabins.
