Napanee’s Senior B Crunch went undefeated at the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association provincials, held in Brampton over the weekend.
Napanee defeated the Belleville Bearcats 4-1 in the finals to end their season with a provincial banner, capping three tournament wins on the year for this group.
At provincials they also defeated London 5-1, North Simcoe 4-0, Woolwich 3-1 and Barrie 4-2.
-Napanee’s U18 also made it to provincials. Though they didn’t capture a medal, they did end their season on a winning note by blanking the Oakville Hornets 1-0 in their final game.
-The United Restaurant U15 BB Crunch finished their provincials with a 4-0 win over Orangeville to go with a pair of ties with Kemptville and Waterloo.
-Napanee’s U11A Crunch won their first two games of the tournament on Friday but had their provincial run ended with a 3-2 loss on Saturday.
It was still an incredibly successful season for the Napanee ladies as they won four tournaments and finished first in their regular season loop.
-Napanee’s U13C Crunch had a win and two losses at provincials.
-Napanee’s U9B team had three wins and one loss at provincials.
