Napanee Remembers Those Who Served

Greater Napanee held its Remembrance Day ceremony outside the Lennox and Addington County Memorial Building on Sunday, starting with a parade from Napanee Royal Canadian Legion Branch 137 to the cenotaph. A moment of silence was observed for those who lost their lives serving their country, and wreathes were laid around the cenotaph. This year’s Remembrance Day marked the 100th anniversary of Armistice, which signalled the end of WWI. Photos by Adam Prudhomme.

Prior to the start of Friday’s Napanee Raider game, members of Napanee Royal Canadian Legion Branch 137 colour parade marched to centre ice. A moment of silence was observed followed by a playing of The Last Post.
