Napanee Crunch give thanks to Atura Power for financial support this season

Members of Atura Power joined the Napanee Crunch on Tuesday Feb. 28 to recognize Atura’s contributions to their minor hockey programs. They were able to meet many Crunch members and received a spirited cheer demonstration from one of Initiation Fundamentals groups, as pictured. Atura Power provided the Crunch with a total of $19,803. This money is to be used for two programs: a bursary program that assists families with registration costs as well as an equipment program to ensure players are safely equipped. Players have been benefitting from these programs throughout the current hockey season and will continue to benefit in seasons to come. With the high cost of hockey, these programs make a huge impact in the financial burden on families and allow more females to try and keep enjoying the game they love. The funding was granted as part of Atura’s Community Development Fund initiative.
