Lennox and Addington County Museum and Archives will host a special Virtual Holiday Kick-off concert, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m.

By clicking on the Museum’s Facebook page- www.facebook.com/CountyMuseum, Irish music fans will be able to tune in and watch the fiddle stylings of Mary Kennedy, all from the comfort of their own home.

The virtual concert signifies the start of a busy holiday season at the museum.

From Dec. 7-20 the Museum will be holding its seventh annual Christmas Tree event. Guests can book a visit for a group of 10 or less to wander the halls of the museum and explore the trees that have been decorated by community organizations. At each tree will be a screen to display a short clip that explains the thought that went into each tree, which will be decorated in the theme of At Home For The Holidays. Guests will be able to cast a vote for their favourite tree with the winner earning a basket of local goodies.

The museum will also be expanding its hours to be open Saturday Dec. 12 and 19.

To book a visit to see the trees between Dec. 7-20, visit https://lennox-addington.on.ca/museum-archives/book-a-visit.
