Museum to host bi-weekly Kids Club this summer

School is nearly out for the summer, and the Museum of Lennox & Addington is offering morning programs for ages 7 – 11 every other Friday this summer starting July 14.

The Museum Kids Club will offer all the fun and learning that is a part of their monthly Museum Kids programs, with more time given for fun and exploration.

The bi-weekly sessions will be themed around the beloved Napanee story, The Secret of Willow Castle. After drop off each day, kids will listen and discuss parts of the book as a group, followed by a story inspired activity. Lots of time will be spent outdoors for fun and games. Participants will get to read through their own copy of the book in between club days.

Museum Kids Club takes place on the dates listed below. All sessions will take place at the Museum of Lennox & Addington, except for Aug. 25, where activities will take place at Macpherson House & Park.

  • July 14th
  • July 28th
  • August 11th
  • August 25th

Drop off time each morning is 9:45 a.m, with pick-up at 12 p.m. The cost to attend all four sessions is $85 per child. This also includes a copy of the book The Secret of Willow Castle. Pre-registration is required and will be available until Friday, July 13 or until spaces are filled.

The Museum of Lennox & Addington is located at 97 Thomas Street East in Napanee. Macpherson House is located at 180 Elizabeth Street in Napanee. For more information please visit the website or call 613-354-3027.
