Morningstar will be hosting a full roast beef dinner on Christmas Day at the Napanee Lion’s Hall starting at 1 p.m.
Everyone is invited for a free meal that includes roast beef, garlic mashed potatoes with gravy, carrots, peas, casserole, coleslaw, rolls and dessert. A free shuttle service will be available from Morningstar Mission at 58 Water St. to the Lion’s Hall from 12:30 p.m. – 1 p./m.
Morningstar will also be offering Christmas meal delivery, open to anyone and everyone including families of all sizes. They are also happy to deliver to businesses or organizations that are open on Christmas Day including convenience stores, emergency services, and any place that may be open on Christmas.
To receive a meal delivery on Christmas Day, visit https://morningstarmission.ca/christmas-dinner/ to fill out an online form. People can also request Christmas meals by contacting the Mission at (613) 354-6355. Meals will be delivered between 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Christmas Day, times may vary depending on delivery routes. To cancel an order, please email or call by Dec. 22.
Morningstar’s warming centre will open for the season on Sunday, running nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 a.m. through April 13, located at 58 Water St.
