Midget BB Stars continue to roll with lopsided win over Douro

The Napanee Windoorman Midget BB Stars continued their winning ways, defeating a short-benched Douro squad 10-1. Goal scorers were Mason Barker (three), Quinton Pierce (two), Josh Reid (two), Jacob Boutilier, Bryan Christie and Marshall Maracle. Emerson Kennelly got the win between the pipes.

-The Country Butcher Shop Peewee BBs cruised 14-0 over Stirling on Saturday. Mason Goodfellow led the way with four goals. Kohen Cutler had a hat trick, while Blake Wood, Dylan Kemp and Owen Dwyer each had two, and Owen Kish chipped in a single. Goalie Aidan Difazio got the shutout.

Sunday, in Brighton, the team earned an easy 15-3 win. Tye Wood and Goodfellow each had four, and Evan Gaffney scored twice. Goalie Joaquin Murray earned the win.

-The AFW Atom BBs gained two more wins on the weekend. In Picadilly, Ben Kerr got the first of two, half way through the first. Brock Boutilier also had a pair, with Colton Lockridge, Callen Wilson and Wesley Davey tallying as well in the 7-5 win. Facing Otonabee, Davey dominated with the first four markers of the game as they won 9-3. Brock Alaver, Kerr, Wilson, Lockridge and Cooper Seaton did the rest of the damage. Goalie Carter Cork gained both victories.

-The Napanee Canadian Tire Peewee AEs were roughed up 6-0 in Douro, and lost to Prince Edward County by a 5-1 score at the Strathcona Paper Centre. Ethan Kouri got the locals’ only tally.

-The Conger’s Plumbing Atom AEs, after a couple of wins in an Ottawa tournament a week ago, lost 5-3 in Madoc and were shut out 6-0 by the Frontenac Flyers at the SPC.
