Sixty-seven golfers played in the extreme heat for this week’s men’s league golf, which was a front nine, gross/net format.
The L&A Mutual Insurance low overall net winner was Don Pearson-27. Low net flight winners were: A- Gord Schermerhorn-30.5, B-John Strang-30.0, C-Brad Haaksman-29.0 and D-Don Landon-24.5.
Low gross flight winners were: A- Dan Childs-35, B- Carl Strudwick-38, C-Al Huyck-43 and D-Dale Hicks-44. Closest to the pin on the second hole was Brian Rossborough-sponsored by Scotiabank. Closest to the pin on seven was Guy Lacroix-Sponsored by CTC Gas Bar.
Other numerical winners were Brad Haaksman-29, Max Bishop-29.5, Rob Barbara-30, Ben Hartwick-30.5, Jay Hawley-31, Rob Riches-32, Al Pomeroy-32.5 and Paul Haaksman-32.5.
