It is with sadness that Mom’s family announces that on Friday, June 2, 2023 she was called to join Dad in heaven. Margaret Verna Salome (nee Babcook) at age 92. Daughter of the late Ray and Mabel (Goslin) Babcook. Beloved wife of the late Wallace E. Martin. Dear Mother of Angela Clupp (Ken) and Wayne Martin (Michaela). Loving grandmother of Melissa Lalande (Gary), Naomi, Alex, Jasmina and Connor Martin. Adored Great-grandmother of Gabriel and Noah Lalande. Pre-deceased by siblings Gerald Babcook (Dorothy); Evelyn Redmond (Howard), Alene Beemer (Oakley) (Ken Snider), Georgia Leonard (Claude), Marjorie Babcook, infant sister Shelby Jane and sister-in-law Helen Snyder. Survived by Brother-in-law Clarence Snyder (Beth) and loved Aunt of several nieces and nephews. The family received friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee on Wednesday, June 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service was in the Chapel on Thursday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m. The service was live streamed and can be viewed on the funeral home website. Interment as at Harrowsmith Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Cancer Society of the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
