Bailey Maracle turned away all 25 shots he faced to help the Napanee Raiders pick up a crucial 2-0 road victory in Game 2 of the Tod Division semifinals Thursday night in Picton.

The victory gives Napanee a 2-0 series lead over the Pirates in the best-of-seven series.

Logan White put the Raiders ahead with a goal at the 16:51 mark of the opening period, his second of the series with help from AJ Hess and Ben White.

That goal accounted for the game’s entire offense until Ben White iced a huge empty net goal with just 59 seconds remaining in the third. Cameron Krupa picked up an assist on the play.
Picton goalie Owen Willis was nearly as good as his counterpart, stopping 23 shots on the night in the tough luck loss. Picton was 0/4 on the power-play while Napanee was 0/2.
Napanee will look to take a strangle hold on the series Saturday night when Game 3 shifts back to the SPC. Puck drop is 7:30 p.m.

Sunday night both teams are back in Picton for Game 4, also with a 7:30 p.m. start time.
