Man charged following Sunday’s collision with a cyclist in Bath

OPP have arrested and charged Robert Saunders, a 51 year old Kingston resident, for the collision that occurred on Hwy 33 in Bath involving a motor vehicle and cyclists.

He is charged with two counts of driving while his ability is impaired by drug causing bodily harm and two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee this afternoon for a bail hearing.

The injured cyclist remains in hospital.
