In loving memory of Betty Madigan
born August 18, 1942, called home April 4, 2014.
My bride of 50 years is not here,
Her seat has been empty for 10 years.
When I open the door what do I hear,
There is only silence to greet my ears.
With a cheerful voice she would say
How are you doing and how is your day?
There is no one to share the evening meal,
At times it is lonely and that is how I feel.
I think of the times when the meals were great
And we sat and chatted until it was late,
We read our bibles and took time to pray
And on that note the end of our day.
She is in Heaven and that brings me cheer.
I miss her so much but our Lord is near.
Forever in our hearts husband Allen, sons Daryl (Wendy), Daren (Lori), grandson Matthew and her brothers Eugene (Ruth) and Ron (Carol) and nieces and nephews.
