The Napanee Peewee Express will play for a trip to the gold medal game at 3:30 p.m. today after they defeated the host Saskatoon Selects 11-3 in a U14 Fast Pitch Canadians Championship playoff game.
Jack Madden doubled home two runs in the first and then added a three-run home run in the sixth. Ethan Tombs started the game with four innings and Gavin Brooks came on to close out the final two.
All told Napanee had 13 hits, with Madden, Ty Kemp, Brooks and Tombs all collecting at least two.
Napanee will now face Chatsworth in the semifinals, starting at 3:30 p.m. eastern time.
