Rural Frontenac Lennox and Addington Allied Health Team, coupled with the Napanee Area Community Health Centre, are hosting a Lung Health Fair in honour of the COPD Day on Nov. 15 at Selby Hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is free for anyone to attend, aimed towards chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and early prevention.
There will be 20 varying vendors in attendance all showing how they can support someone with COPD or assist in preventing it.
As part of the event, a portion of the lung health fair will be streaming the international baton pass taking place in honour of World COPD Day. Light snacks are provided and guests who fill out a passport will have a chance to win a prize.
