Lennox and Addington Special Olympic athletes joined members of the Lennox and Addington OPP and their family for the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run on Saturday, departing from the L&A OPP Detachment, running 3.3 km through town. The distance was to represent the 33rd anniversary of the Torch Run. This year's event was smaller than usual, with most of the event taking part virtually. Money raised from the event will go towards supporting local Special Olympic athletes to compete in various sporting events.
