Effective March 31, 2022, the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital (LACGH) will close its COVID-19 Assessment Testing Centre. These changes are the result of the continued decrease in testing volumes over the past few months.

Publicly funded PCR testing continues to be available to eligible individuals at assessment centres, participating community labs, and participating pharmacies across Ontario.

Some testing locations may also have PCR self-collection kits available, which allow people to collect the sample on their own (under supervision on-site or by themself at home), then return it to the testing location for processing by a lab. As well, some testing locations provide clinical assessment with access to anti-viral therapy.
