The Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation 25th Annual LACGH Foundation Golf Tournament in support of Keeping Health Care Close to Home will tee off next week, Aug. 10 at the Napanee Golf & Country Club.
This year the hospital is celebrating their quarter-century milestone event with members of the community throughout Lennox & Addington County and surrounding area. A silent auction has gone virtual, running Aug. 3-10 at www.trellis.org/lacghf-golf. The community is able to bid on excursions, sports memorabilia, dining experiences and so much more when the auction goes live at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
In addition to the virtual silent auction, the foundation is also raffling a roundtrip flight for two guests to any regularly scheduled and marketed WestJet destination (No cash value. Taxes, fees, and surcharges not included. Blackout dates and restrictions apply.) Only 200 tickets are available can be purchased by calling the LACGH Foundation at 613-354-3301 ext. 400 or by visiting the foundation office located inside the hospital at 8 Richmond Park Dr., Napanee. Purchasers must be 18 years and older and a resident of Ontario at time of purchase.
Since 1996, the L&A community and partners have come together to raise close to $750,000 for much needed medical equipment, services and capital improvements for the local hospital. Proceeds from the 25th Annual LACGH Foundation Golf Tournament will go towards the purchase of a gastroscope for the operating room and help to fund other needs within the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital.
