The Lennox & Addington District Women’s Institute wishes to thank everyone who participated in their recent “Women’s Matters” campaign. This was our fourth year collecting feminine hygiene products, and it was once again very successful thanks to the generous public, the enthusiasm of the staff at Gray’s IDA in Napanee and Deseronto, and Jason and Christine’s wonderful matching sponsorship. It was difficult to count all the items because there were some mega boxes donated, but we estimate close to 300.
We also thank the radio personalities at MyFM for promoting our campaign, and Adam Prudhomme at the Napanee Beaver.
