On Saturday Sept. 17 Lennox & Addington District WI members dedicated this sugar maple at Springside Park in commemoration of the 125th Anniversary of the founding of the Women’s Institute in Stoney Creek Ontario in 1897. Pictured with the spade is Barbara Weese who has just marked her 50th year as a WI member. Also present to help celebrate was Mayor Marg Isbester who brought greetings from the Town and L&A County.
