I was in Napanee last evening and decided to try the Non-Urgent Rapid Access Clinic at Lennox and Addington County General Hospital.
There was one appointment left for the evening. The very pleasant receptionist took my information and directed me to the waiting room. There were two patients ahead of me.
Within 10 minutes the receptionist showed me to an examination room. A short time later the doctor, who was also very pleasant, heard my complaint and gave me a prescription.
Total time in and out was 25 minutes.
The clinic is a fantastic idea and a perfect fit to complement the emergency department.
Our community is extremely fortunate to have a great hospital staffed by great people.
