KFLA reports 32 new cases of COVID-19 as region listed as risk level red

KFLA Public Health reported 32 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the active case count in the region to 267.

A total of 18 people are listed as requiring a stay in an area hospital, nine of which are in the ICU, seven on a ventilator.

Age breakdown: under 5 (2), 5-11 (4), 12-17 (2), 18-29 (7), 30s (5), 40s (3), 50s (2), 60s (4), 70s (3). Close contact (5), under investigation (27)

On Friday the health unit also re-introduced the colour coded system to indicate the risk in the community. KFLA is currently listed as ‘red’. the highest threat level. In ascending order from highest, or worst, the colours are orange, yellow and green.
