KFLA Public Health reports three new COVID-19 cases on Monday, active case count at seven

KFLA Public Health saw three new cases of COVID-19 reported on Monday, as well as two over the weekend, to bring the active case count in the region up to seven.

The latest cases are a male in his 70s, under investigation (UI), a female in her 50s, close contact (CC) and a female age 18 to 29, CC.

One previous case was listed as recovered. One new variant of concern was detected in a previously known case. One person remains in hospital due to COVID-19, though they are not in the ICU.

KFLA is reporting 77.7 per cent of the region’s population 12 and older has received at least one dose of vaccination while 44.5 per cent of the population age 12 and older is fully vaccinated.
