KFLA Public Health reports three new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, double-vaccination rate reaches 80 per cent

KFLA Public Health saw three new cases of COVID-19 compared to five recoveries on Friday, leaving the region with 37 active cases heading into the weekend.

The latest cases involve a female in her 30s and one in her 50s, both under investigation while a female age 18-29 contracted it through close contact.

Seven new variants of concern were detected in previously known cases.

Meanwhile KFLA Public Health offered a big shout out to residents as the region has now reached 80 per cent of the population with two doses.

Those still seeking a vaccine can get one at NDSS this Saturday.
KFL&A Public Health’s mobile clinic will be on site from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Anyone born in 2009 or earlier can get their first or second dose of vaccine. No appointment necessary.
