KFLA Public Health reports six new COVID-19 cases on Monday, active case count drops to 71

KFLA Public Health reported six new cases of COVID-19 on Monday with 14 recoveries to place the active case count in the region at 71.

The latest cases involve a female in her 30s, Close Contact, a male age 18 to 29, Under Investigation, a male in his 30s, Close Contact, three males in their 40s, Under Investigation.

Twelve variant of concern cases were confirmed in previously reported cases, while one new healthcare worker was confirmed to have tested positive in a previously known case.
Over the weekend the KFLA region reached the halfway mark as over 50 per cent of the adult population now has at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
