KFLA Public Health noted five new patients were admitted to local hospitals due to COVID-19 over the weekend-three on Saturday, two on Sunday-while two patients recovered enough to be discharged.
As of Sunday there are currently 21 KFLA residents in local hospital due to COVID-19, 11 of which are in the ICU while seven are on a ventilator.
There are currently 876 total reported active cases of COVID-19 in the region, though testing continues to be limited to those deemed to be high risk with symptoms.
