KFLA Public Health reports five new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, active case count at 14

KFLA Public Health added five new cases of COVID-19 to the dashboard on Thursday, bringing the active case count in the region up to 14.

The latest cases involve a female in her 30s, close contact, a male age 10 to 17, travel related, male age 18 to 29, under investigation, a male in his 30s, travel related and a male in his 40s, travel related.

Since the start of the pandemic there have been 1,630 total cases with 1,610 recoveries and six deaths.

On the vaccination front, 84.3 per cent of the KFLA population age 12 and older has at least one dose while 77.9 per cent has had two shots of COVID-19 vaccine.
