KFLA Public Health reported 272 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the active case count to 2,021 to close out the year 2021.
Fourteen people remain in hospital due to COVID-19, seven in the ICU, seven on a ventilator.
For the year, KFLA saw 4,578 total cases reported in 2021 with 22 deaths.
A total of 191,850 first doses of vaccine were administered in 2021 and 83.4 per cent of the total population over the age of five has received at least two doses.
