JOSSINET, Nancy Elizabeth (nee Lester)
1950 – 2021

It is with much love, that we honour the life of Nancy Jossinet after a short battle with brain cancer. She passed away on Wednesday, March 31st, 2021, at the age of 70 years. This Napanee Posture Queen winner, will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 50 years, Joel, and their children Jean-Marc (Amanda) and Emily (Gary). Predeceased by parents Jim and Jean, as well as her sister Jamie, she will be missed by her sister Marilyn (Kim) and her brother Ken (Sandra). Proud winner of the “Funnest” Grandma Award, she will be fondly celebrated by her 6 grandchildren: Benjamin, Tyler, Samuel, Surina, Daya and Dhilon. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A lifelong organizer, Nancy worked as an administrator for Trinity Presbyterian Church in Kanata (15 years), volunteered as part of the Ronald McDonald House Hockey Tournament Committee (7 years) and retired in Perth, ON. She then moved on to run the Lanark County Quilter’s Guild as Vice President and President (2004-2008). Winner of the Viewers Choice Quilt Award, Nancy had no shortage of creative entrepreneurial talents. A dedicated friend and family member, she actively sought to stay connected to the people around her. We are humbled by the number of people who reached out to us during her final weeks to offer support. In light of Covid-19 a private celebration of her life will be held at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Kanata.
