On Sept. 1 at approximately 10:30 p.m. officers of the Lennox and Addington OPP and other emergency crews responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision on Hwy 401 westbound, west of County Rd 6.
Investigation revealed that a pick-up truck was towing a camper trailer when it had mechanical failure and broke into pieces on the east and westbound lanes of Hwy 401.
No one was injured, however the road was closed for a few hours to clean up the debris. The road is now fully open and the investigation remains ongoing by L&A County OPP.
