Looking to brighten the summer of local youth going through a difficult time, the Lennox Agricultural Society has donated Napanee Fair passes to families supported by L&A Interval House.

The passes, with a value of $550, will give 16 children and youth a fun weekend experience, a small reprieve from an otherwise stressful time in their lives. The Agricultural Society is appealing to the community to help cover the cost of $36 Ride All Day midway pass.

“We are hoping we can generate enough community sponsors to cover the $36/Ride All Day pass from our midway vendor World’s Finest Shows so that all 16 of the children and youth currently being supported by LAIH may have an extra special gift from their whole community this year for the 2024 Napanee Fair, which runs August 2-5,” said Andrea Miller of the Lennox Agricultural Society.

Those interested in helping out can send sponsorship donation via electronic funds transfer ($36 per youth you would like to sponsor) to Lennox Agricultural Society at napaneefair@msn.com by  Aug 1. Please include ‘Interval House Ride Pass donation’ in the etransfer notes. Cheques  made out to Lennox Agricultural Society or cash donations can be arranged as well.
