NDSS Golden Hawks Level 5 gymnasts combined to capture the top spot at OFSAA on Monday.
Representing NDSS at Level 5 was Kylie Mosgrove, Taylor Thompson, Trinity Herrington, Brenna Duncan and Bailey Duncan.
Thompson earned gold on the beam while teammate Herrington won silver and Bailey Duncan placed fourth. Also contributing to the team score was Mosgrove who earned eighth for her floor routine. Herrington also added a fifth place finish on the bars.
The competition was tough as this year marked the highest number of Level 5s who had ever competed at an OFSAA competition.
NDSS’ Alora Laton, competing at Level 1, earned fourth place in the uneven bars and had personal bests on the vault and floor.
NDSS’ Natalie Post competed as a Level 6, earning a 9.016 out of 10 for her floor routine.
